The role provides high‑quality administrative support across the Communications & Customer Engagement and Marketing, Brand & Creative Services teams, and assists senior leadership by coordinating business processes, analysing vendor invoices for accuracy, and identifying opportunities to improve contract and service delivery.

• Provide high‑quality administrative support to Communications & Customer Engagement and Marketing, Brand & Creative Services leadership teams.
• Assist with financial management, including budgeting and quarterly/annual reviews using Council systems.
• Prepare and coordinate professional documents such as briefing papers, reports, and presentations.
• Organise meetings and manage agendas, ensuring timely and accurate support materials.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, handling enquiries and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
• Provide high‑level support to senior teams or act as a senior personal assistant, and lead small projects.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have at least three years of relevant administrative experience, a proven track record of achieving objectives, and strong communication, relationship‑building, and influencing abilities.

Qualifications include a minimum Certificate IV in Business, Management, Administration or equivalent experience, demonstrated ability to provide high‑level support to senior teams or act as a senior personal assistant, and experience leading small projects. Experience in procurement, invoicing, presentations, reporting, and handling sensitive matters with discretion is essential, with preferred experience supporting communications, marketing, or customer service teams.
