Minimum 10 years’ professional experience with at least 5 years’ in specialism including Construction, Engineering and Management in large scale multidisciplinary railway engineering and construction projects, or projects of a similar nature
Strong understanding of railway construction processes and materials
Knowledge of engineering and construction assurance, with ability to assure works from technical drawings
Adaptable to challenges and changing conditions
Stakeholder management experience on major projects
Ability to contribute to project delivery and commercial strategy development for large-scale initiatives
Experience implementing health, safety, environmental, and quality management processes
At least Higher Certificate degree (or equivalent) in relevant subject area e.g., engineering, construction, project management or Ordinary Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field would be advantageous
Proven capability in delivering complex infrastructure works
Strong and effective team leadership and stakeholder communication
Track record in promoting and maintaining high health and safety standards
Proficient in cost monitoring and resource allocation
Expertise in developing and managing project plans and schedules
Deep knowledge of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2020; railway project experience

Professional Membership in MCIOB or MICE (or equivalent) – or working towards this
