Continuously develop relationships with existing clients and pursue new client opportunities which provide long-term customer relationships and revenue opportunities.
Support culture of safety across all business units.
Collaborate closely with project managers and field teams to ensure constructible, cost-effective designs.
Participate in planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for major construction projects; assist in estimating, feasibility studies, and may coordinate production of basic design plans and construction documents.
Lead and implement process improvement initiatives.
Oversee concept design, energy modeling, and system optimization using Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering software.
Mentor and review work of supporting team members.
Lead the mechanical design of HVAC and plumbing systems for large commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
Support corporate goals, VTO’s, and personal Business Development Plans.
Review and interpret proposed designs, architectural drawings, and building specifications for appropriateness to required function and/or institutional standard, and initiate revisions where appropriate; advise consultants and clients how best to achieve required results.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field
Strong proficiency in computer application and technology tools.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, personnel management, leadership, and communication skills.
Design-Build project experience preferred
Valid driver’s license
Skilled in situational management and decision-making under pressure.
AutoCAD and/ or Revit experience is desired
Must be able to lift ten pounds occasionally
P.E. License
Ten + years of directly related experience to duties specified
Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
