Maintain regular contact with clients and regulatory agencies
Supervising permit technicians and administration in completing permit applications and moving the permit application process forward
Project management assistance on several types of utility and pipeline projects including client coordination, contract negotiation, developing and maintaining project schedules, and maintaining project budgets
Supervising CAD designers and project coordination with other departments, professions, and agencies
Project coordination and communication with construction managers, contractors, owners, construction inspectors, and permitting agencies
Writing technical reports, letters, project summaries, and emails

Florida PE license is a plus
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Relevant experience in Southwest Florida preferred
Minimum of 5 years of local experience in civil engineering of utility projects is a plus
Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects.
Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record as driving is an essential part of the position
Professional Engineering License. Will consider strong candidates with EIT certificates who are on their way to licensure
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook
Experience in water and wastewater pipeline, pump station, hydraulic modeling, and/or treatment plant design
