The Parts Associate role focuses on identifying and providing parts to maintenance or production personnel, utilizing several computer systems to search work orders, issue parts or materials, and retrieve related information.
Key responsibilities include coordinating with internal departments to assess customer needs and prioritize parts, unloading, receiving, and verifying incoming materials, accurately identifying parts and arranging their pickup or distribution, and storing and organizing inventory in designated locations. The associate also researches historical inventory movements to resolve discrepancies, contributes to corrective actions for inventory control, conducts periodic inventory audits, and supports other parts personnel and campus warehouse locations.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a forklift operator’s license, and be able to read and write English. Physical requirements include the ability to push, pull, or lift heavy objects or machine parts with or without assistance, and competence in using scanning equipment and online software.
