The person in this position needs to frequently move about client’s facilities and offices to access equipment and complete tasks.
Occasionally lift and move equipment in excess of 100lbs in a safe manner.
Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, repair manuals, rough sketches, and drawings.
Review GMP maintenance activities in SAP.
Assisting with building support services as needed.
Identify and recommend initiatives for continuous improvement.
Frequently move tools and equipment weighing up to 50lbs across client facilities as needed to complete tasks.
Provide emergency support off hours as required.
Perform building and equipment inspections to proactively identify maintenance needs.
Champion GMP compliance and maintenance best practices to support a best-in-class maintenance program.
Submit SAP notifications for nonstandard conditions.
Installation and relocation of office fixtures, lab equipment, and manufacturing equipment.
Perform all activities in compliance with applicable cGMP regulations, FDA, USP and ISPE guidelines
Consistently ascend and descend portable and fixed ladders, scaffolding and other equipment used to reach equipment at various levels of height some of which maybe in excess of 25 feet in a safe manner.
Accompany and supervise contractors and contracted work crews as needed.
Maintain a safe work environment; work in a safe manner following all safety SOPs and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Must be able to ascend and descend a large quantity of stairways at any given time.
Five or more years of experience working as a technician and three or more years of experience in a supervisory role.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position as necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Master all aspects of the routine building walkthroughs to the point of being able to carry out tasks independently.
The ability to balance your work and family activities.
Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions as needed.
Background in painting, plumbing, dry wall and/or electrical is critical.
Possess appropriate knowledge and experience to receive work orders, execute tasks, and/or oversee work performed by 3rd party building maintenance contractors.
HS diploma, technical school, or military training and experience in relevant field.
Good mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
