Support continuous improvement efforts
Monitor production schedule and report anything that may impact schedule either in a positive or negative way
Review electrical drawings, cut sheets, and termination sheets to ensure all electrical connections are secure and correctly installed.
Perform continuity checks on panels
Mount electrical components, route cables, and wire termination of components.
Build panels, terminate wiring in panels and print wire tags for electrical department
Employee is responsible to perform the above mentioned, and any other tasks assigned to them in a safe manner and in accordance with our Health & Safety Policies, JHA’s & SWP’s.
Employee is responsible to understand and follow all Company Policies and Rules.
Ensure safety policies are met and followed
Maintain tools, and tool PM sheets
Ensure quality standards and procedures are met and followed

Must be willing to work in other areas of our facility as required.
General understanding of engineering and sheet metal principles.
Detail oriented and knows to follow part and component details
Experience or knowledge of HVAC will be considered an asset
Comfortable working in loud environments (hearing protection required).
Good hand eye coordination.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Interpret Wiring schematics
Must be able to communicate effectively with Co-Workers, Team Leads, Supervisors, Engineering, Quality and Health & Safety.
Must exhibit safe work practices.
Experience bending and install rigid and EMT pipe as well as calculating pipe fill and wire size is an asset.
Experience prepping and installing lights as well as pulling and terminating wire.
Strong communication, problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
Capacity to learn and follow electrical drawings, wiring schematics and bill of materials
Steel toed boots (CSA Approved 6’ in height or greater) required.
Ability to plan and execute jobs successfully.
Ability to use various hand & power tools (drills, grinders, chop saws, band saws, measuring tape, etc.).
Must be able work OT on weekdays and weekends when required.
Must demonstrate organizational skills and be able to work independently.
Understanding of engineering and electrical principles.
Ability to mount panels, VFDs, filters and devices and install instrumental tubing and devices.
Previous experience in manufacturing environment an asset
Grade 12 education or equivalent
