- Maintain project documentation and sealed deliverables in compliance with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) requirements.
- Create documentation such as evaluation reports, design bases, calculations, test plans, and hazard logs according to established engineering practices.
- Assist with project planning, estimating, and progress tracking to meet cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
- Conduct field visits for construction support, quality control, and commissioning activities.
- Prepare detailed design packages, including device point assignments, RTU configurations, network setups, and material specifications.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and review of engineering deliverables prepared by others.
- Perform configuration, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of RTUs, gateway devices, user interfaces, network switches/routers, and other IEDs.
- Develop safe and effective SCADA engineering designs for electrical utility substations (12kV–500kV).

- Proficiency with industry design/analysis software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CAD systems and drawing standards.
- Experience programming GE Remote Terminal Units (RTUs).
- 3–5 years of experience in automation or control systems.
- Experience with DNP3, networking protocols, cybersecurity, or M2M networking applications.
- Registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or equivalent at the time of submission.
- Ability to work on-site in a hybrid office setting.
- Knowledge of NERC standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science or Engineering.
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant engineering experience.
