Review Contractor pay requests, including stored materials.
Work with the HDR Project Manager to evaluate project schedules and prepare status reports.
Maintain accurate daily record of construction site conditions and activities; significant events, issues, or problems; and communications between parties.
Attend coordination meetings and regular construction progress meetings with the Owner and the Contractor.
Work with general supervision from the HDR Project Manager.
Produce required reports on Contractor’s progress, quality, schedule, and budget status.
Photograph construction progress and catalog photos for future reference.

Experience in water/wastewater pipeline construction inspection.
Experience with construction scheduling, cost controls, and quality (quality control/quality assurance).
Able to work in a team environment.
5+ years of experience in the field, observing and documenting daily construction work activities (ideally Water / Wastewater).
Demonstrated construction experience on multidisciplinary projects
Thorough knowledge of materials, methods and equipment used on multi-disciplinary construction projects.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience
Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction
Experience in a water treatment, wastewater treatment or pump station facility either as a Contractor, an operator or as a Consultant.
Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar software packages used on design and construction projects is a plus.
Experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction inspection.
Must be able to work in a team environment
Previous experience as a Lead RPR, Lead Inspector or Construction Superintendent.
Willingness to adhere to all HDR and OSHA safety policies/standards. Must possess or be willing to acquire OSHA 10-Hour construction safety certification.
Possess a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction.
Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents
Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages
Local candidates are preferred.
