Investment Associate - Renewables

Description

This role will work closely with senior leadership to identify and analyze new opportunities, support M&A execution, and drive portfolio growth through detailed commercial and financial assessments.

• Support negotiations and execution of transaction documents in coordination with legal and commercial teams
• Conduct financial and strategic due diligence for potential acquisitions and joint ventures across North America
• Build and review detailed financial models to assess valuation, structure, and return metrics
• Collaborate with internal development, finance, and operations teams to evaluate growth opportunities within the portfolio

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, or principal investing within the energy or infrastructure sector
• Proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, three-statement), with working knowledge of VBA/Macros a plus
• Background in evaluating renewable energy, energy storage, or infrastructure assets is preferred
• Strong understanding of energy markets, project development lifecycles, and project finance principles
