• Support attorneys in all phases of civil litigation
• Calendaring deadlines and maintaining litigation calendars
• Drafting, proofreading, and formatting legal documents
• Scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials

Requirements

An AV-rated, mid-sized civil litigation firm in downtown Orlando, is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to support its litigation team. Candidates with plaintiff or defense experience will be considered, though strong defense-side litigation skills are preferred.

• Time slipping/billing support
• E-filing in state and federal courts
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Strong knowledge of court e-filing systems
• Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience on the plaintiff or defense side (defense preferred)
• Excellent typing, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Prior litigation legal assistant experience required

Benefits

Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 annually, based on experience
