Maintains inter-departmental training and updates to training schedule based on direction by the Engineering Manager and Production group managers.
Aids in identifying and implementing process improvements to current systems.
Coordinates/Tracks ongoing Departmental actions in support of Audits, Self-Assessments, and lessons learned from work team investigations.
Conducts required reviews and implements updates to Departmental Process Instructions.
Develops schedules and estimates for assigned tasks and prepares reports on the results of the work accomplished.

Proficiency using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or MathCad.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Ocean or Nuclear) or Naval Architecture from accredited college or university.
Must be a U.S. citizen who is not a dual citizen of any other country.
Demonstrated intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Engineer in Training (passed FE exam).
Strong technical writing skills.
Performs basic engineering tasks and conventional design that may be varied in nature.
Possesses and applies a working knowledge of engineering fundamentals in one or more engineering fields.
Exhibits good technical judgment and some independent evaluation, originality and ingenuity.
Ability to perform in an ISO-9000 rated company in a rapidly changing and demanding atmosphere.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
