The Underground Crew Leader is a skilled position responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical underground distribution systems. This role requires a strong understanding of underground services, infrastructure, and duct banks, as well as the ability to lead and train lower‑skilled employees.
Candidates must be able to travel long distances on short notice, possess a CDL with safe‑driving practices, lift more than 50 lb, and work outdoors in inclement weather. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required.
The position demands regular standing, walking, speaking, and use of hands, with exposure to fumes, noise, vibration, and extreme weather conditions typical of construction sites. Physical stamina is essential to perform rigorous labor and meet the job’s physical demands.
