Supported by experienced subject matter experts across each business unit, your mandate is to integrate strategy with execution—driving operational discipline, financial performance, and long-term capability building within a culturally diverse workforce.

Lead a USD $150M+ vertically integrated enterprise in Papua New Guinea spanning forestry, renewable energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and township services. This is a rare expatriate leadership opportunity offering genuine scale, autonomy, and long-term impact.

• Provide end-to-end leadership across a multi-sector, vertically integrated enterprise
• Engage effectively with executive leadership, government agencies, and community stakeholders
• Strengthen operational efficiency, sustainability, and asset utilisation
• Build local leadership capability and implement succession planning
• Lead and develop a large, multi-national workforce with a strong focus on safety, culture, and performance
• Oversee forestry harvesting, engineered wood manufacturing, renewable energy generation, agriculture, and township services

Requirements

This role suits a commercially astute, operationally credible General Manager who thrives in complex, asset-intensive environments. You will lead a diversified, multi-national operation with responsibility for performance, safety, sustainability, people, and community outcomes.

• Proven General Manager / senior executive experience in large-scale production or asset-based environments
• Forestry, timber, agriculture, energy, or industrial manufacturing exposure highly regarded
• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-disciplinary operations
• Strong commercial, financial, and strategic decision-making capability
• Culturally astute leader with experience in expatriate or emerging-market environments
• Own full P&L accountability across multiple revenue streams
• Tertiary qualifications advantageous but not essential
