  • Encourage open communication and reporting of safety concerns. Champion a proactive safety culture through leadership and example.
  • Partner with the Quality Management and Training Operational Excellence (OE) team and EHS OE global team to align EHS and quality initiatives. Serve as a visible EHS presence in the field, building trust and rapport with operational teams.
  • Capture and communicate lessons learned from incidents, near misses, and audit outcomes. Promote knowledge sharing across teams to prevent recurrence. Contribute to the development of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Lead investigations of EHS incidents and near misses, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and follow-up actions and plans to prevent recurrence. Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement on workplace safety and environmental performance.
  • Conduct routine and ad hoc EHS audits at operational sites. Collaborate with field teams to identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and compliance gaps. Document findings and ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans in response to audit findings or incidents. Track and verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions. Support root cause analysis and risk assessments.

  • Proficiency in Enablon or similar EHS management software preferred.
  • Certifications with OSHA 500, 510, 30 preferred.
  • High school diploma or higher.
  • In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, standards and best practices. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication - verbal and written – and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • 3 or more years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in energy, construction, or industrial sectors. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
