What you would be doing

Drive innovation and push boundaries in Eaton’s Data Centres design offering by staying up-to-date with the latest research, industry trends and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including D&B, engineering, operations, and sales, to ensure the successful implementation of electrical projects.
Continuously improve processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical design and implementation.
Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design and development of LV, MV, UPS, energy storage and other applicable Data Centre electrical systems and solutions.
Working with local agencies having jurisdiction to ensure compliance with IEC, EU requirements and building codes.
Defining project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during construction phases.
Assist in developing, managing and maintaining the Consultant’s & Client’s CPD Programme with regular, consistent engagement
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in electrical design.
Contribute & Support marketing campaigns & activities that can promote Eaton to Client relations and business
Conduct detailed technical analyses and provide recommendations for improving electrical systems and processes.
Traveling to sites for site review and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide engineering evaluations, electrical systems audits, and startup as needed.
This an external facing role and the candidate will be representing Eaton as an Industry solutions expert. The person needs to develop trusted and influential relationships with Clients, Consultants, Partners and Industry peers.

Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges and driving innovation.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and development.
Excellent understanding of the European Electrical Codes coupled with detailed understanding of critical LV and MV electrical equipment industry standards and regulations.
Experience with sustainable and energy-efficient electrical design.
Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.
Advanced qualification in project management is a plus.
