Maintain accurate daily survey records, notes, and data files
Assist in quantity tracking and production reporting as required
Upload and maintain 3 D models, alignments, and project data to machine control systems (dozers, graders, excavators, etc.)
Conduct quality control checks to verify elevations, grades, and dimensions meet project specifications
Manage and maintain GPS base stations, rovers, robotic total stations, and machine control equipment
Provide leadership, training, and support to field staff and equipment operators
Perform construction layout, staking, and as-built surveys using Topcon GPS, robotic total stations, and data collection software
Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure layout and grades are accurate and align with project design
Troubleshoot and resolve survey, robotic total station, or machine control issues in the field

Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction survey/layout
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Construction Management, Surveying, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Hands-on experience with machine control systems for grading and excavation
Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel to project sites as needed
Leadership experience managing survey or field crews
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and civil design principles
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3 D" Magnet Field/Office or similar design/survey software
Ability to interpret CAD files, digital terrain models (DTMs), and coordinate systems
Familiarity with earthwork, roadways, utilities, and site development projects
Proficiency with Topcon GPS, robotic total stations, levels, and related data collection software
