Coordinate with third-party vendors such as design houses, manufacturing partners, and bought-out part suppliers to ensure timely execution.
Conduct basic engineering calculations to validate design integrity and perform quality checks throughout the design phase.
Analyze RFQs received from customers, interact to clarify queries, and conduct site visits to gather project data.
Perform process engineering including layout concept development, cycle time estimation, and robotic application conceptualization.

Proficiency in CATIA V5, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Robot Studio, and MS Office; familiarity with Process Simulate is an added advantage
Awareness of Tier-1/OEM design standards and automotive manufacturing processes including welding line layouts (spot welding, arc welding, SPR/FDS joining)
Expertise in weld studies, gun placement, layout and process studies, GD&T, tolerances, and materials
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering
Strong understanding of concept cell and equipment design for robotic applications including welding, hemming, and battery tray assembly
Willingness to travel for project execution and customer support
4–6 years of experience in BIW fixture design, SPM development, robotic simulation, and cycle time studies; industry exposure to Automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, robotic automation, and SPM design
Knowledge of standard BOP selection and integration elements such as pneumatics, sensors, and controls
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proactive approach with strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving abilities
