Support regulatory compliance efforts related to OSHA, EPA, and local requirements, including documentation and recordkeeping.
Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and behavioral observations; document findings and support corrective action development and closure.
Support emergency response planning, drills, and preparedness activities.
Assist with contractor safety oversight, including pre-job reviews and onsite safety monitoring.
Perform hazard identification, job safety analyses (JSAs), and risk assessments; recommend and help implement effective control measures.
Serve as a trusted EHS resource for employees and supervisors, responding to safety questions and concerns in real time.
Lead and participate in incident, injury, near-miss, and emergency investigations; complete root cause analyses and track corrective actions.
Support site and corporate EHS initiatives and special projects as needed.
Track EHS metrics and KPIs; assist with reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and deliver site-specific EHS training, toolbox talks, and onboarding sessions for a bilingual workforce (English/Spanish).
Provide daily, onsite EHS support within a high-volume manufacturing operation, maintaining a strong presence on the production floor.
Partner with site leadership, operations, and maintenance teams to implement, maintain, and improve EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
