The OMM Technician supports production by managing Oracle transactions, preparing kits for assembly, and overseeing materials inventory and daily operation planning and shipping.
Key duties include verifying incoming shipments, updating Oracle databases, binning and kitting stacks, reconciling inventory discrepancies, completing daily logs and pass‑down reports, processing work orders, and prioritizing work with area leaders.
The technician also helps develop efficient manufacturing procedures, provides on‑the‑job training to new OMM team members, ensures zero quality‑control discrepancies, follows SOPs and Job Safety Analyses, and monitors OP5 operation planning activities.
- Verify incoming shipments and update Oracle inventory records.
- Identify, bin, and kit stacks; manage rework columns.
- Reconcile physical inventory discrepancies with Oracle system.
- Complete daily transaction logs and required pass‑down reports.
- Process work orders and prioritize tasks with area leaders.
- Assist in developing efficient manufacturing procedures.
- Provide on‑the‑job training to new OMM team members.
- Ensure zero quality‑control discrepancies in kits and columns.
- Follow SOPs and Job Safety Analyses; inspect incoming materials.
- Monitor OP5 operation planning and adjust system inventories.
- Pull parts, process material requests, and maintain accurate inventories.
- Lift up to 35 lb and maintain a clean, orderly work area.

Qualifications require a high school diploma (associate’s degree preferred), the ability to lift up to 35 lb, strong communication and team‑building skills, proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office, and at least two years of planning or production experience; Oracle inventory module experience is a plus.
- Use Excel and Microsoft Office; Oracle inventory experience preferred.
