The position works Monday‑Friday, 6:30 AM‑4:30 PM at the material‑recycling facility/landfill in Norridgewock, ME, with occasional evening or weekend on‑call duties.
- Operate and monitor the Leachate Management System (LMS) in accordance with regulatory and WM standards.
- Coordinate daily leachate technician activities and collaborate with site contractors and consultants.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical components such as pumps, valves, compressors, and sensors.
- Utilize the SCADA system for operation and diagnostics of LMS infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate LMS maintenance records and complete compliance tasks.
- Review daily LMS data (flow, alarms, sump depths, loadout volume) to ensure proper system function.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
