The Project Manager will lead design reviews, provide constructability input, and manage work packages from the design phase through to closeout and handover. Responsibilities include developing budgets, schedules, scopes of work, tender packages, conducting pre‑bid meetings, evaluating bids, onboarding contractors, overseeing construction execution, and ensuring compliance with scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, and environmental standards. The manager will also resolve issues and risks, manage change orders, coordinate with superintendents, QA/QC, finance, procurement, and prepare monthly progress reports and client briefings.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related technical field and bring at least 12 years of project and construction management experience, including 5+ years on heavy civil, northern mining or remediation projects. Professional designations such as PMP, professional engineer or geologist are preferred, and experience working in Northern Canada is an asset. The role requires strong independent work ethic, team coordination skills, and the ability to address subcontractor performance issues.
