Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established operating procedures
Document quality checks at regular intervals
Complete health & safety pre-start checklists
Ensure that products being produced meet established quality specifications
Operate counterbalance, propane-powered forklift
Document production numbers, items contributing to downtime (using computerized systems and hand-written production reports)
Adhere to safety policies, programs, and procedures

Manual dexterity and attention to detail
Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time
Fluent in verbal and written English
Ability to follow direction and specific instructions
Good communication skills
Minimum 1 year of proven forklift operating experience preferred
Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
Minimum 2 years’ experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing or construction industry preferred
Comfortable with working in a dusty environment
Ability to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
Must be able to walk and/or stand 90% of the shift
Able to work 12-hour rotating production shifts (days and nights)
