Assist in the administration and enforcement of the company substance abuse program (drug & alcohol policy).
Conducts inspections and enforces adherence to laws, regulations, or company policies governing worker health and safety.
Conducts and documents safety inspections to ensure compliance with the company’s safety & health program.
Inspects machinery, equipment and working conditions at construction sites to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health and regulations, other state and federal regulations governing the construction industry, and/or company practices and procedures.
Attends conferences, seminars, and courses to maintain continued awareness of safety programs.
Plans, administers, implements, and coordinates the company’s safety programs to control risks and losses.
Assist the region in performing root cause analysis for incidents and accidents.
Coaches’ employees to meet the expectations with regards to the company safety program.
Assists in rehabilitation of workers after accidents/injuries and makes sure they return to work successfully.
Prepares and conducts safety orientations, trainings, and meetings.
Participates in incident management and investigation.
Responsible for compliance with required training programs and record keeping.
Maintains liaison with outside organizations to assure information exchange and mutual assistance.

Understands and interprets local, state, and federal regulations and statutes relative to environmental safety, employee safety, and workers’ compensation to ensure the company is compliant.
Candidates must have the legal right to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or related field preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point are required as they will make your start here with us much smoother.
At least 1-3 years of field experience in safety or construction preferred.
