Determine conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
Generate reports and analysis of test data, and prepare documentation and recommendations.
Direct and exercise control over operational, functional, and performance phases of tests.
Provide training in new procedures to production testing staff.
Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures to be used from the product design phase through to initial production.
Review test equipment designs, data, and RMA issues with customers regularly.
Design and lead engineering and technical personnel in the fabrication of testing and test control apparatus and equipment.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by the supervisor.
Perform moderately complex assignments of the engineering test function for standard and/or custom applications and interpret test data and prepare technical reports for use by test engineering and management.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
Perform semi-routine technique development and maintenance, subject to established standards, including ISO and QS development standards.
Direct and coordinate engineering activities concerned with the development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, record, and reduce test data.

Experience in electrical or electronic engineering.
Project management skills.
Experience in electronics and hardware testing.
Experience with scripting languages like Linux is a plus.
Proficiency in developing test plans and test development.
Capability to understand test scripts and make modifications as needed.
Ability to build and create test benches and understand schematics.
Bachelor of Science in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and C#.
1-2 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing-related industry.
Ability to contribute to the development of DOE and data gathering to resolve ongoing failure trends.
Skill in solving random failures through interrogation of test logs, software, physical measurement, and visual identification.
