Develop and implement GIS-based solutions for tracking and managing road maintenance projects
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through quality control processes
Create, update, and maintain GIS databases for road infrastructure and assets
Provide technical support and training to team members on GIS tools and applications
Perform spatial analysis and generate maps, reports, and visualizations to support road O&M activities
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to identify and prioritize road maintenance needs
Stay updated on the latest GIS technologies and best practices in road infrastructure management
Assist in the integration of GIS data with other systems and databases used in road O&M
Collect and process spatial data from various sources, including GPS and field surveys

Knowledge of road operations and maintenance processes

Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Familiarity with GPS technology and field data collection methods
Knowledge of Qatar's road network and infrastructure would be advantageous
Experience with CAD software and database management systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data management
Understanding of transportation infrastructure and asset management principles
Proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS or QGIS
