The Role

Overview

Maintain and grow sales of security service contracts, ensuring retention and satisfaction.

Tasks

-Work closely with front sales team to address customer needs in terms of upgrades or expansion -Interface effectively with district operations to deliver and improve service delivery. -Act as the primary point of contact for the assigned customer base and develop a positive ongoing relationship with customers plus an intimate knowledge of each account (e.g., key decision-makers, equipment, service contract, history, etc.). -Responsible for retention, customer satisfaction, and growth within the customer base. -Report progress and metrics to operation and corporate teams on a weekly and monthly basis. -Determine customer needs and develop sales strategies to meet those objectives. -Adhere to current Johnson Controls policies, procedures, products, programs, and services. -Identify opportunities to optimize contract terms, pricing, and service levels during renewals. -Monitor contract expiration dates and proactively engage stakeholders to initiate renewal discussions. -Manage all retention activities within an assigned service agreement customer base of $3M-$5M.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly qualify opportunities. -3 years or more in the physical security industry (maintenance or monitoring) in Canada -High school diploma or professional training certification in the fire alarm domain. -Ability to sell intangible services. -Ability to travel up to 40%. -High degree of self-discipline. Independent, creative thinker. -Experience dealing and negotiating contracts
