The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or possess equivalent experience, and must have a valid driver’s license, basic computer proficiency, and be able to pass safety‑sensitive drug screenings. Physical requirements include working both indoors and outdoors and lifting at least 50 lb.
Successful engineers will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong written and oral communication, exceptional organization, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with fellow employee‑owners.
The position demands regular on‑site work in varied weather conditions, requiring physical stamina, the ability to navigate construction hazards, and compliance with local, state, and federal safety guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or 4 years equivalent experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office applications
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Pass pre‑employment and random drug screenings
- Able to work indoors and outdoors and lift/carry at least 50 lb
- Positive attitude and teamwork with employee‑owners
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and take‑charge attitude
- Capability to work independently and within a team
- Heavy civil or industrial construction experience preferred
- Familiarity with Heavy Job system (a plus)
