What you would be doing

- Support flux analysis and internal audit reviews with well-documented narratives. Intercompany
- Conduct GL reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in coordination with field and corporate teams.
- Coordinate with Trading partners, field teams to validate journal entries; review Inventory transfers between various markets
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Support non-trade intercompany transactions (e.g., labor transfers, allocations). Budgeting and Forecasting
- Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepayments, reclasses) by gathering data from various systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Cassis, IBM, Workday) in line with the financial close calendar (eg: Accruals for missing invoices identified during the close process, Review of invoices not yet vouchered)
- Perform settlements between Markets (cash or non cash)
- Support the transition of manual processes to BlackLine and ERP workflows. Optimize use of various template for auto-certification in blackline ________________________________________
- Reviews financial data and identifies the need for any adhoc journal (eg:, Adjustments based on field estimates for utilities, correcting misclassified expenses)
- Support topside adjustments and post-close entries (e.g.,bonus, tax). Commentary & Analytics
- Assist in intercompany matching (AR and AP balances) , discrepancy resolution, and easy claim processing across markets - Broadline, Stockyard, Field, Chef store
- Produce rolling forecasts in Anaplan Process Improvement & Automation
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities; ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
- Draft clear, insightful commentary for P&L and balance sheet variances
- Collaborate with field finance teams to gather business context and root cause analysis.
