The Production Maintenance Technician supports and sustains production equipment to continuously improve line operations and complete preventative-maintenance requests. The role is accountable for machine downtime and contributes to the OEE metric for each department while maintaining the plant’s physical assets. The technician works closely with production teams, providing on-call support, change-over assistance, and fostering supplier-customer relationships.
Candidates must have at least two years of production-maintenance experience and have completed the company’s 24-hour Haz Mat refresher training. Required knowledge includes mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC systems, as well as safe lock-out/tag-out practices and use of hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail, initiative, multitasking ability, and effective communication are essential. A high-school diploma or equivalent is required; PLC coursework or technical certifications are a plus.
