Assists with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
Works cooperatively with other trades to ensure projects stay on track.Ensures all communication with customers, subcontractors, coworkers and other parties is professional.
Maintains personal transcript of training and provides updates to the company as needed.
Accurately keeps track of crew time and reports payroll hours in accordance with company training.
Installs electrical systems in a manner that minimizes waste and avoids unsightly/disorganized systems.
Participates in project team meetings, as required.
Stages materials, supplies, tools, equipment as needed and maintains a neat, safe work area at all times.
Communicates, coaches and enforces CR Meyer safety standards with their crew including but not limited to: NFPA 70E Qualified Person, PPE, power tool safety, HazCom, lock-out/tag-out, confined space, fall protection, powered industrial vehicles, jobsite housekeeping standards, etc.
Represents the CR Meyer brand in a positive, professional manner at all times.
Proactively maintains certifications and training requirements in relation to the Electrician trade, with an emphasis on new developments in the field, technology and leadership.
Accurately tracks productivity measurements and reports as required.
Supervises the activities of an assigned crew of Electricians, delegates work accordingly and actively performs the following tasks alongside their crew:
Works independently and/or as a team to perform wire and cable pulls.
Orients new employees to the job site.
Uses electrical test instruments such as multimeter, oscilloscope, etc. to troubleshoot/repair equipment.
Works with the Safety Coordinator to train and hold people accountable to CR Meyer safety standards. Has the authority to stop work in cases of imminent danger.
Completes all paperwork in accordance with CR Meyer paperwork training.
Prepares conduit for installation using manual, mechanical and hydraulic bending systems.
Conducts pre-task planning sessions with crew to ensure everyone knows the job expectations, has the training/tools they need and understands safety requirements for the work they will be performing.
Works with Labor Relations and/or HR on employment related matters such as employee concerns, corrective actions, respectful workplace, progressive discipline and terminations. Documents employment actions using coaching and termination forms.
Orders tools, supplies, materials, equipment needed for job completion using the company’s Yard Ordering system. Monitors and controls access to company property to reduce damage and/or loss.
Wears all assigned PPE and observes CR Meyer safety guidelines at all times.

Ability to travel to various project sites within the United States required.
Employees who operate a company vehicle must have a valid driver’s license, insurable driving history and ability to operate a motor vehicle following all traffic laws, CR Meyer required training and demonstrate safe, courteous driving habits.
Previous experience as an Electrician Journeyman/Foreman required and must hold a Journeyman Certificate/License.
Must possess basic computer skills and/or the ability to learn CR Meyer software and systems.
Properly runs, strips, splices, tapes, caps, connects, grounds all electrical wiring per NEC requirements.
Able to read and utilize a schedule to keep projects on-time or ahead of schedule.Provides reports to management on project status, as requested.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States, without employer sponsorship.
Due to project deadlines and demands, regular and reliable attendance is required.
Able to estimate small project change order hours & material quantities.
Ability to complete all CR Meyer training and perform job duties within safety guidelines including, but not limited to, First/Aid-CPR Certification, OSHA 30 and SafeStart and other job/trade-specific requirements.
