The Service Technician works independently or as part of a team and is responsible for the installation, startup, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of commercial HVACR equipment, systems, and units.
The role requires regular standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasional sitting. The technician must regularly lift up to 10 lb, frequently lift up to 50 lb, and occasionally lift more than 50 lb with assistance, and possess normal vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment.
Candidates need a Technician’s Degree or equivalent from a technical/trade school with a HVAC certificate and five years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office are also required.
