The role involves preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D for land subdivisions, road, drainage, sewer and water infrastructure. You will interpret design requirements from state and local authorities, coordinate with transport, planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping disciplines, and engage directly with clients to understand project needs.
- Prepare conceptual and detailed civil designs using 12D (land subdivisions, road, drainage, sewer & water systems).
- Interpret civil design requirements from State and Local Government authorities and private sector clients.
- Coordinate with transport, planning, surveying, traffic, electrical and landscaping disciplines.
- Engage directly with clients to clarify project needs.
- Participate in mentoring programs, both as mentee and mentor.

We have an opportunity for a Civil Designer to join our Community Development team in Springfield. Reporting to the Design Lead, you will work on civil design projects across Brisbane and surrounding areas, ideally with experience on multi‑disciplinary projects for councils, local government, main roads or developers.
We are looking for a senior civil designer with proven experience in land, urban and subdivision projects, strong 12D proficiency, and familiarity with authority approval and regulatory processes. A graduate diploma in civil engineering (or equivalent) and a commitment to professional development are essential.
- Demonstrate senior civil design experience in land, urban and subdivision projects.
- Hold a Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficient in 12D software and familiar with authority approval/regulatory processes.
