The Service Advisor’s primary role is to match customers with appropriate products and services, drive long‑term customer retention, and coordinate with the Internal Customer Service Team to ensure satisfaction with completed work.
The advisor will collaborate with the Team Leader and Service Manager to meet sales targets, manage quotes and job scheduling, train technicians, and maintain detailed records in the CRM system. They will also use lead‑generation tools and blueprint analysis to develop cost estimates for new construction projects and negotiate contracts. Delivering a positive Vortex experience and building lasting relationships with key accounts are essential.
- Work with customers to provide accurate and suitable products and services
- Follow up on leads and generate new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the Team Leader and Service Manager to achieve sales goals
- Follow up on pending service quotes within set time frames
- Provide technical training to service technicians
- Manage and order shop and truck materials as needed
- Assist in customer job scheduling and project management
- Deliver the best Vortex experience and promote the company positively
- Build valuable relationships with all customers, including key accounts
- Identify commercial and industrial construction projects using lead‑generation tools and contact contractors or architects
- Analyze blueprints and specifications to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
- Complete cost estimates within bid deadlines
- Present and explain service benefits to potential clients
- Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed targets
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM system
- Collaborate with service and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
