Conduct training classes for company personnel.
Advise management concerning claims and disputes with owners and subcontractors.
Draft and/or oversee the development and implementation of complex contracts, and assist in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
Develop legal opinions as necessary and provide counsel to management.
Conduct research and interpret laws, rulings and regulations for implications and applicability to construction operations.
Represent the company in meetings with outside counsel and settlement negotiations.
Strategize with operations, and lead teams in developing and organizing data and presentation for settlement meetings on construction disputes.
Stay current on legal trends and best practices as it relates to construction law and corporate law, and educate operations.
Oversee and perform certain discovery efforts.
Advise management concerning legal issues as they relate to construction operations.

Deep understanding of and experience applying construction law, and comprehensive understanding of construction process, methodology and documents.

Strong team player and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals at all levels of an organization.
Law degree from an accredited law school, and member in good standing in any of the following states: California, Colorado, Georgia, New York, Oregon, Texas, or Washington.
Possess unquestionable ethics and integrity.
Proven leadership and management ability.
Strong sense of accountability, integrity and taking ownership over projects and responsibilities, and resolving issues proactively.
8-13 years of experience with a law firm or combined experience with a law firm and in-house.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
