Material Clerk II

Description

The employee will organize stock in the warehouse, store items properly, and retrieve products as needed while following instructions and collaborating in a team environment. The position may assume additional duties as assigned and requires attention to detail.

• Safely operate a forklift and perform preventative maintenance at the start of each shift.
• Pick, pack, stage, and move products to designated stock/hold areas.
• Use the computer inventory control system to process order inquiries and complete required documentation.
• Operate hand tools (manual and pneumatic) and read tape measures in metric and imperial units.
• Handle high volumes of work, multitask, and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
• Lift up to 50 lb (heavier loads with assistance) and perform repetitive motions under various weather conditions.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required, and a forklift license is also preferred.

Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lb (more with assistance), frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and using a ladder, as well as working in varying weather conditions and exposure to noise. The role requires the ability to use both hands overhead and perform repetitive motions.

Benefits

The facility is located at 1200 W. Marley Rd., Olathe, KS 66061, with walk‑in applications accepted Monday through Friday. The role works the 3rd shift from 10:45 pm to 7:15 am and includes daily and weekend overtime as needed. Pay is $27.00 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential.
