- Supports customs clearance and material tracking at jobsite.
- Expedites engineering reviews and approvals.
- Reports to and receives operational direction from the project Expediting Supervisor.
- Aligns priorities with planning, construction, and logistics.
- Coordinates with suppliers to ensure timely engineering data, production, and shipments.
- Coordinates with area expediting personnel assigned to perform project visits.
- Attends project meetings and maintains documentation.
- Interprets schedules to ensure they are realistic, that required activities occur on time, and that interface between activities is maintained.
- Responsible for coordination with project and project procurement management, engineering, construction, startup, planning and scheduling, area expediting, and other procurement personnel assigned to the project team.
- Maintains contact with suppliers to monitor the progress of material and equipment orders.
- Oversees area expediting and supplier quality coordination.
- Receives functional guidance from the Expediting Manager.
- Prepares and issues critical reports.
- Tracks schedules and progress to meet jobsite needs.

- Requires bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputed University. 5+ years of industry experience including minimum 3 years in expediting functions.
- Working familiarity with engineering and procurement practices, and general understanding of production methods.
- Capable of providing early warning to the Project Management of supplier deficiencies or schedule slippage.
- Skilled in preparing clear and comprehensive correspondence and reports.
- Experience in expediting visits to supplier shops, monitoring supplier performance.
- Good oral and written communication skills regarding technical and production matters with both project and supplier personnel
- Knows how to deal professionally with suppliers and project personnel.
- Understands the Logistics and Supplier Quality process functions.
- Knows the supplier warning and advisory process.
- Understands budget development and management.
