Element Materials Technologies is seeking a Test Technician to conduct routine and non‑routine testing in the Exposure Gas Laboratories for non‑metallic materials. The role involves executing test methods according to industry standards, collecting, documenting and reporting test data for review by SNR Engineers.
- Prepare material specimens for testing.
- Operate mechanical testing equipment according to internal methods or industry standards.
- Perform high‑temperature and high‑pressure tests.
- Gather, record, and analyze test data.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Work under supervision of senior test technician or department manager as needed.
- Interact periodically with customers.
- Schedule internal equipment calibrations.
- Construct and maintain test fixtures and laboratory equipment with minimal supervision.

- Hold an Engineering or Physical Sciences degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Possess working knowledge of laboratory safety, including risk and COSHH assessments.
- Understand basic testing concepts.

- Skilled in report writing.
- Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting.
- Demonstrate strong observational skills, attention to detail, and precision.
