Assist project managers and follow QA/QC plans.
Coordinate with other disciplines.
Conduct structural analysis, design, and detailing.
Mentor and train less experienced staff.
Collaborate with architects and contractors.
Utilize BIM design software to produce structural drawings.
Assign and coordinate tasks with engineers-in-training and BIM professionals.
Perform construction administration, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, conducting site observations, and preparing reports.
Manage multiple assignments concurrently.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Reinforced masonry
Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Minimum of 3 years of professional structural engineering experience.
Experience with Autodesk Revit and Construction Cloud.
Master’s degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering with a structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited institution.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering with a structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited institution.
Working knowledge of US building codes and structural design standards.
Experience with AIA MasterSpec.
Strong understanding of structural engineering principles.
Structural Wood
Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas or ability to obtain licensure in Texas within 3 months of joining Garver.
Reinforced Concrete
Proficient with Bentley RAM Structural System and RAM Elements.
