Description

The Assembler role is based at the Flushmate division in New Hudson, MI, reporting to the Plant Manager. Assemblers are responsible for producing products that meet company specifications and customer orders, working on a variety of sub‑assembly lines and ensuring quality throughout the process.

• Produce quality products following company policies and procedures.
• Bag or pack appropriate quantities for customer orders or stock.
• Build various sub‑assemblies according to production requirements.
• Operate on assembly lines, adjusting tasks as different models progress.
• Test parts and assemblies using air or water pressure.
• Fasten components by bolting, screwing, clipping, or other methods.
• Verify and record product conformance using tools such as torque guns.
• Set up and adjust machines within the Assembly Department.
• Retrieve materials for tasks and clear unnecessary items from the work area.
• Complete required production reports.
• Follow established procedures and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or GED and basic math skills.
• Optional: less than one year of assembly experience.
• Optional: ability to troubleshoot simple machine problems.
