Certification for the use of some tools and equipment may be required, such as crane, forklift and fall protection equipment.
Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos, and technical documentation.
Lift and move no more than 40 pounds.
3-5 years of previous experience in the assembly of electrical sub-assemblies for heavy vehicles or machines (e.g. trucks, military equipment, airplanes, ships, etc.)
Candidates should be willing to work in non-climate-controlled environments and inclement weather if required or if applicable
General mechanical/electrical technical background.
Motivation and ability to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as to work collaboratively in small teams.
A good understanding of metric system measurements.
Frequently required to work on elevated platforms.
Basic English skills – ability to read and understand written instructions and effectively communicate verbally.
High school education or GED
Read and understand electrical schematics, wire lists, assembly drawings, bills of materials, and assembly instructions.
Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Frequently required to climb, such as, but not limited to stairs, steps, and ladders.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
