Interns will provide broad support for client engagements while developing a technical foundation. They will work in teams on complex problems, delivering high‑quality client‑ready work for government departments, energy networks and multinational companies in the London office. Coaching will focus on business professionalism and rapid learning of new concepts.
Throughout the placement, interns are expected to build strong relationships, participate in team and industry events, and uphold Guidehouse’s values of respect, integrity, innovation, stewardship and excellence, contributing to an inclusive culture.
- Deliver on multiple projects under a consultant mentor’s guidance
- Conduct or shadow interviews, capture information and present it concisely
- Keep key stakeholders updated on project progress
- Synthesize data into clear analyses and provide fact‑based recommendations for reports and presentations
- Manage, quality‑check and organise project documentation
- Build relationships with team members and engage in office and industry events

This 12‑week UK summer internship is in the Intern job family and may require up to 25 % travel. The role supports the UK public sector, working on projects for central government departments, local authorities and councils. Interns must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom and be able to attend the London office or client sites 3‑5 days a week.
- Authorized to work in the UK, enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or master’s program, and able to work on‑site 3‑5 days weekly
- Preferred: team‑player attitude, critical thinking, strong attention to detail, creative problem‑solving, data collection and analytical abilities
- Ability to handle multiple projects, understand objectives and client expectations, and communicate effectively, with coaching in presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Interest or experience in government, public policy or organisational design is a plus
