Program Governance Manager - Data Centres

Description

• Train and support teams in adopting risk frameworks
• Implement schedule governance, change control, risk management, and cost tracking routines
• Standardize KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics across regions
• Run risk workshops, mitigation planning, and assurance sessions
• Maintain program-level risk registers
• Play a pivotal role shaping governance for high-value technical programs
• Lead program health checks, audits, and executive reporting
• Embed global governance frameworks, reporting standards, and assurance processes
• Work directly with senior stakeholders across EMEA and the US
• Drive consistency across multiple data center programs
• Act as the main connector between EMEA PMO/Risk functions and US delivery teams
• Provide structured oversight across all workstreams
• Work with engineering, construction, and operations to identify dependencies and milestones

Requirements

• Understand technical risks and how they impact schedule, commissioning, and delivery
• Experience in PMO, program governance, risk management, or program controls
• Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating internationally
• Strong stakeholder management, especially in matrixed or global environments
• Background in data centers, critical infrastructure, or large-scale construction/engineering
• Ability to embed frameworks, influence behaviors, and train teams
• Balances governance discipline with practical delivery awareness
• Certifications such as PMP, PMI-RMP, PRINCE2, or similar
• Experience supporting complex technical programs
• Enjoys bringing order and structure to high-paced technical programs
• Has a global mindset and is comfortable working with EMEA-driven frameworks
• Understanding of MEP systems, commissioning, or hyperscale environments
• Can confidently challenge, guide, and influence senior delivery teams
