Manage the setup and removal of jobs within the Lineup platform.
Prepares, reviews, and maintains reports, statistics, and records.
Participate in and ensure crew member participation in TYFOOM.
Ensure VCRs (Vehicle Condition Report) are completed by all operators daily.
Tour job sites and interact with direct reports.
Works with maintenance shops to schedule equipment repairs and services.
Conduct daily toolbox talks prior to production start (Safety and Risk Assessment, Daily production Goals, Crew Member Responsibilities)
Ensure that proper materials and adequate inventory levels are maintained at asphalt plants.
Schedule and manage time off request through the time off application.
Prepares company employment records for new employees and other documentation as required.
Locate, identify, mark, and communicate project specific hazards.
Attend and participate in incident review calls.
Ensure employees follow company safety and environmental policies.
Coordinate with other lines of business and opco’s to maximize recourse utilization.
Conduct Monthly work zone inspections using the TYFOOM tool.
Attend human performance coaching opportunities as necessary.
Attend scheduling meetings with management to plan upcoming needs.
Reviews dispatch operations to identify technical and operational training needs and recommend operational improvements.
If manager is unable to, Superintendent must accompany an injured employee needing medical attention.
Make certain crew members have participated in documented task training prior to equipment use.
In the event of an incident, ensure incident report is completed and submitted.
Mark specific safety hazards on site with supplied blue cones.
Monitor employee timecard for accuracy and approval if necessary.
Prepares daily work schedules to ensure that sufficient shift personnel are available for workload demands.
Set up and manage Tyfoom safety application for all new and existing employees.
Manage utilization of owned and rental equipment.
Distribute work orders to crews as necessary.
Anticipate manpower needs and hire accordingly.
Participate in hiring events such as career fairs.
Actively manage the 30-60-90 progress for all new hires in the construction division.
Receives, reviews, screens, and maintains job applications for future, qualified employees
Will directly supervise a varying number of employees or crews.

OSHA/MSHA Training
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Have a Strong understanding of B2W Track
Have a Strong understanding of Quickbase.
Needs to be familiar with different truck capacities and abilities and plant loading capacities, and what products are available at the various plants and sites.
Must be able to determine travel times to jobs and determine best plant locations to service jobs.
Smith System Drivers Training
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately.
CPR/First Aid
