The role sits alongside an Associate or Director, delivering cost management and employer’s‑agent services for residential, private and social housing, care homes, retirement living, and commercial developments throughout southern and eastern England. You will oversee projects from early estimates through on‑site delivery, managing finances and client accountability end‑to‑end.
Key duties include managing project budgets of £5 m‑£80 m, developing collaborative relationships with clients, contractors and the supply chain, and supporting the growth agenda by identifying new work opportunities. You will also mentor junior staff, ensuring efficient delivery of the Cost Management service and maintaining high client satisfaction.
We seek candidates with strong interpersonal and communication skills, self‑motivation, and experience delivering the full spectrum of QS/EA services such as estimating, procurement advice, contract administration, cost reporting and final account resolution. A degree in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management, chartered RICS status, a full UK driving licence, and a CSCS card are preferred.
