Setting Out Engineer

• Provide technical advice and guidance to the construction team
• Provide training and guidance to team members as required.
• Interpret construction plans and drawings and ensure that work is carried out to specification
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise during construction
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and workforce productivity
• Set out and survey all assigned construction sites using surveying equipment
• Attend site meetings and provide progress reports as required.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that all work is completed on time and to company standard

Design Build Search is seeking a Setting-Out Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our client's experienced team based in Cork.

• Proficiency in the use of Autocad and associated programs
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a Construction related field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in a similar role in the construction industry
• Valid driver's license with access to own vehicle
• Proficiency in the use of total station, GPS, laser level and other surveying equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
