The Assistant Project Lead – Project and Development Services position in Chennai works closely with the project manager or senior project manager to drive project success. You will own small projects, support larger ones, and ensure clear objectives, streamlined reporting, communication and procedures across the team.
Building strong client relationships is a core focus; you will identify client needs, balance JLL’s business interests, seek cross‑selling opportunities, and manage project revenue and payment cycles to avoid bad debt.
Upholding excellence in project delivery includes managing consultants, administering vendor contracts in line with legal requirements, identifying and mitigating risks, and keeping health, safety and sustainability top of mind.
You will collaborate with colleagues at all levels, fostering open and constructive relationships with superiors, peers and clients while driving results through teamwork.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, as the role involves forecasting project expenditure, managing budgets, and producing project‑related reports, analyses and reviews.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in a property‑related discipline, has at least three years of experience in design, construction or project management, and is comfortable using JLL’s digital technology platforms to deliver projects.
