Coaches Associate with Service Engineers and use agreed processes and procedures to ensure that all Service Engineering activities comply with the required safety regulations and satisfy contractual requirements.
Advice clients on maintenance and upgradation of existing installed base.
Performs site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance certification. Acting as the HE led for Service Engineering activities on a project. Ensures that HE is presented as a professional organization in all interactions with the customer.
Supports Project Managers in issuing claims (new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.).
Obtain approvals from utilities/customers for Service Engineering activities of Telecom Systems.
Prepare project documentation such as SAT reports, Incident reports, RCA reports, etc.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Implements design changes and the production of as built project documentation. Supports continuous improvement of project process and product and system design via provision of lessons learned feedback.
Creates work plans and cost estimates for work in an area of responsibility and proactively manages this work to deliver the agreed program on time, on quality and at targeted cost.
Give presentations / training on new products / solutions to internal / external customers and conduct POCs.
Manages external organizations providing Service Engineering with equipment, systems or services (e.g. issues permit work, provides guidance on health and safety requirements and work practices, accepts as complete work done).
Represents the Service Engineering function at project meetings and design review meetings.
Works as a Telecom engineer in PDH, SDH, Ethernet, MPLS-TP technologies, with tendering team to understand end client’s specifications/practices related to telecommunication products and propose a technical solution meeting the requirements.
