We are looking to find ambitious individuals to join our apprenticeship programme in September 2026 and develop their careers with us into leadership roles in the future. We will tailor your work experience and academic studies based on what qualifications you have when you join us.
Civil Engineering apprentices will spend time working with our central teams in Design, Planning, Commercial Services and Compliance Services and our on‑site teams around the UK. Progression to the Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship is available to high performers after successfully completing Level 4.
Entry requirements are 112 UCAS points from A‑levels, AS levels or BTEC Level 3 Diploma qualifications, plus GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
Are you thinking of starting your career as a Civil Engineer and looking for an alternative to full time university? If you would like the opportunity to work with experienced professionals and earn a competitive salary whilst studying for a 'debt-free' qualification, then we want to hear from you! We are a long-established and successful civil engineering company operating primarily in the railways sector.
This is a work-based apprenticeship combined with day release at the academic provider. You will be supported and mentored throughout, following a structured programme to ensure you gain the foundation skills and personal development you need to excel in your role.
We offer a collaborative and friendly working culture focused on investing in people, up to 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays, ad‑hoc hybrid working, and company sick pay. Additional benefits include excellent training and development from our award‑nominated in‑house team, paid volunteering days, annual flu jabs, employee assistance programmes, access to a mental health first aider team, a pension and death‑in‑service scheme of 2× annual salary, and a £1,000 employee referral bonus.
