As a Solution Owner within the Digital Transformation and Innovation team of allnex Global IT, you will lead multiple applications Business Services portfolio addressing Finance, HR, Procurement and Legal functions. Operating globally (our presence spans between Europe, Asia, and the Americas),you will act as the knowledge lead for several applications, safeguarding templates and driving functional improvements. You will be engaged throughout the full solution lifecycle — from design, realization, and testing to cut-over, go-live, hypercare, and run — with a consistent role in the design phase. Your work will involve managing functional and technical requirements, coordinating analysts, supporting escalations, and ensuring solutions remain aligned with allnex standards. Based in Riga, you will collaborate closely with IT Delivery Partners, Project Managers, and global business stakeholders, reporting within a matrix to the IT Business Partner.
- Take ownership of the functional and technical solutions in the designated domain. Manages CMDB information accordingly.
- Drive a team of functional, project and support analysts in configuring, documenting, and unit testing business solutions.
- Operationally, responsible for the trend analysis of incidents and requests, and can act as an escalation point in case of Major Incidents and in Problem Management.
- Enforce standards and Out of the Box Solutions and make decisions for changes and improvements.
- Involvement in projects from start to finish, including design, realization, training of key-users, testing, cut-over, go-live, and hyper care to Run.
- Participate in planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement of the landscape in all functional and technical areas, in the designated domain.
- Occasionally handle issue-solving requests in escalation mode.
- Lead the design, set-up, enhancement, and maintenance of the business applications in specific area of Business Services with FiCo accounting for majority stake.
- Propose solutions and enhancements in the designated domain.

- Thrives in a global, multicultural environment with the flexibility to work across time zones.
- Experienced with testing tools (HPALM, Panaya, MS Azure DevOps, etc.) and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).
- Proactive and organized, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced English language skills required other languages considered an asset.
- Brings 5+ years of experience as SAP FiCo Consultant or Solution Owner in an international or ICT environment acting as an expert in this field.
- SAP FiCo expertise required certification preferred.
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field specialization in chemical industry is a plus.
- Comfortable with incident management, complex issue resolution, and problem management processes.
- Has completed multiple end-to-end SAP FiCo implementation or improvement projects with full module scope.
- Strong knowledge of integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, EWM, PP, etc.) and exposure to cloud-based solutions such as Ariba or VIM.
- Capable of translating complex business requirements into functional designs and clear documentation.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
- Excellent communicator, able to work with diverse stakeholders in both office and manufacturing contexts.
- Additional SAP or integration-related certifications are an advantage.
